Orangatang Moronga 72,5 mm wielen.

De Moronga heeft een center set en een symmetrische vorm voor volledige flexibiliteit bij het draaien van uw wielen om gelijkmatige slijtage te bevorderen.

Een smal 35 mm contactvlak balanceert het lange glijpotentieel van het wiel met een heldere en definitieve aansluiting. Met dezelfde grote en lichtgewicht kern als de Balut is de Moronga ontworpen met een radicaal ander lipprofiel.

In tegenstelling tot een zachte radius dwarsdoorsnede sport de Moronga een dikke lineaire en zeer licht scherpe lip die overgaat in de lagerzitting nadat deze de buitendiameter van de kern bereikt.

Dit garandeert een proportioneel consistente lipvorm gedurende de levensduur van het wiel dat voorspelbaar glijdt en een betrouwbaar tractieniveau biedt.

Bovendien gaan de stijve en vlezige lippen samen met de brede kern om vervorming te minimaliseren en te zorgen voor soepele, rustige glijbanen en uitstekende slijtage-eigenschappen. Het inkapselen van de hele kern in urethaan voegt een beetje gewicht toe.

De afweging is echter een steviger ondersteunde lip en verhoogde trillingsdemping voor een grotere rit en soepeler stillere drift. Ze komen in drie verschillende durometers (urethaanhardheid); 80a 83a en 86a.

Hoe harder de durometer, hoe gemakkelijker het is om met lagere snelheden te glijden. Hoe lager de durometer, hoe beter controleerbaar uw dia’s zijn bij hogere snelheden.

Orangatang Moronga 72.5mm Wheels The Moronga features a centerset bearing seat and a symmetrical shape to allow for complete flexibility in flipping and rotating your wheels to promote even wear.

A narrow 35mm contact patch balances the wheel’s long sliding potential with a crisp and definitive hookup. Using the same large and lightweight core as the Balut the Moronga has been designed with a radically different lip profile.
As opposed to a soft radiused cross section the Moronga sports a thick linear and very slightly acute lip that blends down into the bearing seat after it reaches the outer diameter of the core.

This guarantees a proportionally consistent lip shape throughout the life of the wheel that slides predictably and provides a reliable level of traction.
Additionally the stiff and beefy lips partner with the wide core to minimize deformation and ensure smooth quiet slides and excellent wear characteristics. Encapsulating the entire core in urethane does add a bit of weight.

The tradeoff however is a more firmly supported lip and increased vibration damping for a plusher ride and smoother quieter drift. They come in three different durometers (urethane hardness); 80a 83a and 86a.

The harder the durometer the easier it will be to slide at lower speeds. The lower the durometer the more controllable your slides will be at higher speeds.
